Antonia O’Brien is the proprietor & QBCC registered building designer at antoniajayne Design, with Postgraduate & Undergraduate degrees in Architecture & Architectural Science.

Antonia has been working as a building designer & draftsperson since 2016, but has spent a life time in the industry.

'I grew up wanting to be an artist my entire childhood & on the flip-side was also growing up in a family that was in its second generation of builders. 

As much as I sought out to steer myself away, there was always an underlying urge to be a part of the [construction] industry.

 

I eventually ended up studying Architecture at Curtin University in Western Australia.

Funnily enough I was ‘home’ & finally able to combine my love of art, design and the built environment.

 

I am now based in South East Queensland a graduate in my field holding two professional degrees from Curtin University

& licensed with the QBCC as a building designer.

Having had the pleasure of calling QLD, NT and WA my home over the years I've been able to observe and unite design techniques & methods from all over Australia to form a thought out, eclectic, climate driven design style'.
